Part 2 – Lecture.
Rules for working with the MiYo ceramic system and alternative staining systems.
1. Specifics of working with MiYo ceramics and their analogues. Framework preparation. How to achieve the effect of a layered tooth in a single firing.
2. Anatomy and morphology of gingiva. Technique for creating multicolored gingiva.
3. What MiYo Structure masses are and whether their use is always necessary.
4. MiYo fluorescence and how it differs from other staining systems.
5. Indications and contraindications for the application of MiYo ceramics and other stains.
6. Is it necessary to purchase the full kit, or can excellent results be achieved using only 10 core materials?
7. Possibilities of staining lithium disilicate, feldspathic ceramics, layered restorations, and porcelain-fused-to-metal restorations.
8. Tools and brushes required for MiYo application.
9. Firing temperature protocols depending on the span and size of the restorations.

Part 3 – Lecture.
Individualization of Full-Anatomical Restorations
1. Rules for creating cracks in young and aged teeth.
2. Creation of a 3D tooth coloration effect, including cracks and transparent incisal edges.
2. Anatomical and optical features of perikymata, growth lines, and the white band, and principles of their simulation.
3. Polishing after glazing: instruments and protocols.
4. One-firing glazing technique.
5. Study of natural tooth characteristics and their simulation using stains.
6. “Pink cervical effect” and its simulation to achieve максимально natural restorations.
7. Concept of the “anti-chipping” technique.

Practical Section.
1. Application of gingiva using the MiYo ceramic system.
2. Application of MiYo ceramics on teeth. Rules for application in the anterior region.
3. Coloring of young teeth with creation of mamelons, transparent incisal edges, halo effect, and bleach shades.
4. Coloring of aged teeth with creation of deep gray or yellowish translucency, cracks, chalky spots, exposed cervical areas, incisal edge wear, and simulation of plaque and caries.
5. Application of structure masses to the gingival part of the restoration to achieve an “orange peel” surface effect. Modeling of interdental papillae and the upper labial frenum.

Attention!
During the practical session, each participant will apply 6 units on teeth and 6 units on gingiva.
Both young, middle-aged, and aged teeth will be covered.
